• Coordinated dedicated duplex stainless steel inventory from our long-term Baoji factory
• Used 5-axis machining center to complete complex surface machining in one clamping, reducing error accumulation
• Arranged dedicated personnel to track production progress on-site with daily reports
• Finished products underwent full inspection with CMM, providing material and hardness reports

Background

A Canadian drilling service company urgently needed to replace mud pump liners. The original supplier's quality issues caused frequent downtime.

Challenge

Liner inner diameter tolerance ≤0.025mm, material required high-chromium cast iron (wear resistance HRC≥58), and the client requested sample confirmation before mass production.

Our Solution

• Utilized our partner foundry in Shandong for precision casting, reducing machining allowance
• Performed heat treatment (quenching + tempering) after rough machining, then rechecked hardness after finishing
• Provided 3 free samples shipped by air to Canada; client was very satisfied after testing
• Split bulk order into two shipments: first by air to ensure production, second by sea to reduce costs
